Happy Drinksgiving (Posted 11/26/07)
I didn’t make it home to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving this year, so I celebrated with my “family” in New York. The day started at Laura H’s, where we watched the parade from her balcony. You could only see bits and pieces, a Kermit leg here and a Powder Puff vagina there, but we were drinking the world’s best bloody marys so nothing really mattered. Then we watched American Psycho, which will hopefully become a new Thanksgiving tradition. By 3pm, we were doing shots:
At 5pm, we went over to Rich’s. He had been cooking for three days straight and provided enough food (including turkey AND ham, plus no less than five pies) to stop the famine in Malawi. Our gluttonous ways, combined with the I-will-eat-your-face-off aftereffects of smoking pot, had us going back for seconds and thirds. I think I actually had four helpings? Rich provided the soundtrack:
After dinner, we sang and danced and played dirty Taboo, which evolved into a discussion of sneezes being related to orgasms:
All in all, it was a very merry Thanksgiving, and I have an extra tummy roll to prove it.
